The Netherlands was represented at the parade and expo. Marianne Theime (not picutured), MP, Party for the Animals, was a speaker at the 2009 VPP expo. She was the main narrator for the groundbreaking documentary Meat the Truth

Mercy for Animals has spearheaded numerous undercover investigations of farmed animal abuse, meanwhile producing invaluable video footage.

The exhibit table of VivaVegie Society, the sponsoring organization of the parade, is staffed by long-time author, speaker, and anti-dairy advocate George Eisman, RD.
