101 Reasons Why I'm a Vegetarian

THE BOOK

By the early 2000s, 101 Reasons Why I'm a Vegetarian had become a bit of a mini juggernaut. Author Pamela Rice simply kept expanding her vegan-advocacy enterprise as public support kept pouring in. As always, the pamphlet was used regularly during VivaVegie street outreach. But beyond this, Pamela had by this time published  50  editions  of  her magazine  The VivaVine. And in 1999 she had founded the Veggie Center of NYC. So it stood to reason that Pamela would be offered a book deal—thank you, Martin Rowe of Lantern Books. Viola! Three years later in 2005 the book version of 101 Reasons Why I'm a Vegetarian was for sale and being adopted by libraries around the nation
